What would automating one task return in your business?
Three inputs. Honest arithmetic. Decide for yourself.

This is the same arithmetic we put in front of every client before a Build — hours reclaimed, dollar value, payback against a fixed price you can see on this site. It's a projection, not a promise. If your numbers don't stack up, we'll be the first to say so.

The task you'd automate

People doing this task5
Everyone who touches this task regularly — not your whole headcount.
Hours per person, per week4
Be honest — most teams underestimate. Neoscape's PCG reports were ~3 hours each, ~120 a month.
Loaded hourly rate$100
Salary + on-costs, per hour. We use a conservative blended A$100/hr in client reporting.

Hours back / week, team-wide
Straight answer: at this scale, a Build may not pay for itself quickly. That's worth knowing before you spend a dollar. The quiz will tell you whether a different process — or no automation at all — is the better first move. "No action needed" is a real outcome.
Indicative only — assumes automation returns ~75% of task time (Neoscape saw ~83%) across 46 working weeks. Not a quote, not a guarantee. Your Build is scoped and priced before you commit.

The arithmetic, in the open

  • Hours reclaimed = people × hours/week × 46 working weeks × 75% time-reclaim. We assume the automated task still needs a human review pass — Neoscape's 3-hour reports became 30 minutes, an ~83% reclaim; we project at 75% to stay conservative.
  • Value = hours reclaimed × your loaded hourly rate. This is time returned to higher-value work, not cash in hand — the same convention our Management Dashboard reports against.
  • Payback = build cost ÷ monthly value. Published build pricing, + GST. Every Build includes 6 months of support; the optional $200/mo retainer isn't counted here.
  • What this can't know: whether your task is actually automatable, data quality, edge cases, and change management. That's what the quiz and a scoped discovery are for.
